Join up with me,
So you can see,
Hell's dark brew a-bleeding.
Breathe out the air,
All's foul and fair, when
The Siren's Song is pleading.

for every word, sentence, and question, there is a particular fluxuation in pitch and emphasis that articulates the tone of a thought. everyone practices this art, day in and day out, most without bothering to think twice.

"Where the hell are my keys?"

Emphasis on "where", "hell", and "keys". A decrease in pitch on "keys" indicates exasperation.

"Right where you left them."

Emphasis on "right" and "left". An increase in pitch on "right", then a decrease on "them", indicates false sincerity.

i love to listen and read into people, try and figure out whatever it is they really want to say. some people are harder than others, some are simply impossible. some are really good liars, while others just lie to themselves. and then there's me, and i probably lie to myself as well, while i'm listening to someone lie to themself, so the truth is so far gone i can't even begin to glimpse as to what it has to offer.
