Join up with me,
So you can see,
Hell's dark brew a-bleeding.
Breathe out the air,
All's foul and fair, when
The Siren's Song is pleading.

"What a rush"

Friday night productions are always the best. The crowd was huge, and the stupid administration wouldn't give us any chairs because of their precious, precious art auction the next day. Everyone in the cast did great-we pulled of a play that some thought couldn't be pulled off, essentially making something out of nothing. I applaud those that never "gave up" on the play, and worked every day to try and make something of it. Although i did play the lead, i can't say it honestly felt like it on stage. Standing on those black boards, the lights (when not malfunctioning) blinding me, the heat wrapping around my limbs, its no longer about my line or her line or his line, its about a conversation, a hand gesture, a reaction, a walk around the couch. its no longer about memorizing or pride or stolen keys. its about the sound of that audience laughing, then the relief of a roar of applause. stolen from alex: "I love acting. It is so much more real than life."

can't wait till spring
